We will be having a get-together on May 5, at Mill Lake in Abbotsford. We can call it a picnic of sorts, at, or near, the picnic shelter #1 (off of Mill Lake Road). Coincidently, Abbotsford is having a Family Emergency Preparedness Day, to kick off Emergency Preparedness Week (May 5 - 11), at Mill Lake as well. They will be having demonstrations, community group kiosks, with information on emergency kit preparation. This is the perfect place and time to have a get-together.

Sorry for the delay. If you are planning on coming out to say 'Hi', I will be at Mill lake at about 9 am until ?. If you park at the Mill Lake Rd parking lot, look at the lake, then turn right, start walking. Look for the sign for Fraser Valley Preppers somewhere around the #1 Shelter (that is my target area). I plan on having my floppy white hat on, shorts and sexy neon white legs. I don't know how busy it will be on a sunny sunday, but you might want to bring chairs, lunch? refreshments, and SPF 900 sunscreen, I'll buy Timbits, but they aren't going to last long. Abbotsford is having a family day there to kick off Emergency Preparedness Week (coincidence?) Come on out and check out what they have, and stop by to say Hello.
