By the look of your handle, I'm guessing you are familiar with simulations (and simulators!). They are a great way to run through worse case scenarios, run them to logical conclusion (ok, this is left for everyone's interpretation) and then everyone walks out unscathed when it's over. I think this is a good thing, so long as lessons learned don't get shelved.

I'm not sure if I get where you're going with "New World Order exercise" though.

This is more for the US than any other country. They're in debt up to their eyeballs and can't pay. Soon the they won't be able to borrow any more money. They will have to declare martial law after that because the bank system will fail from lack of bailout funds. Maybe that's why they have 6 FEMA camps ready to go.

At this point, I don't think that any amount of discussion is going to make a difference in anyone's mind.
The article you quoted suggests a "sudden interest" in catastrophic power grid failures, which is slightly misleading.
This is, after all, Gridex2...the original Gridex excercise was carried out over 2 years ago, so this is something that has been looked at for a while.
I find it curious that when preppers prepare for a power outage of grand scale we are just being smart, but if the government does it, there MUST be something about to happen.
I think it's great that these excercises are taking place and that the government seems to be taking it seriously, and I would hope that the preper movement is at least in part responsible for bringing this possibility to their attention. If so, then we should be celebrating a great success.
As for the various websites warning that this is the end of the world as we know it and that they will actually disrupt power on a global scale, institute martial law, and send us all into Fema death camps, well.....
We'll see in a couple day's time.

Get it fast before its shut down and the government rounds up anyone that watched it into fema camps. Well, when the aliens that run the government come to anally probe me and insert the number of the beast on a microchip, I sure hope they kiss me first and don't ask me to do anything really humiliating like cuddle afterwards. I hate to point out that when/if the U.S. economy truly fails, a big chunk of the world goes down, too. We consume too many goods imported from other nations, even though it's largely purchased on foreign credit. Without the virtual money being lent and spent, income doesn't reach the producer nations. They also don't get the interest trockling back in, even if it's interest being paid with the latest loan. You also have to get a lot farther down the line in disarming the U.S. before any kind of invasion becomes a good idea. That might be in motion, directly through gun grabs and through indirect methods like training and ammo requirements, be we ain't there yet.

There's no way to "cut" the power to the entire U.S. without also zapping chunks of the rest of North America or one of the hemispheres.

We just saw a slew of these articles and alerts and videos, predicting disaster as early as late September and moving through somewhere around Oct. 10. They covered several UN, NATO or joint forces exercises, internal unit exercises, a supposed leave cancellation of U.S. forces, and listed some number of schools that were securing food for students - and in some cases, emergency kits kids were supposedly being sent home with, the latter part of which is full of holes even in concept.

We see these predictions made, they tend to reference other things that have happened and blame them on a greater movement or dark purpose with an unnamed official claiming and sometimes citing irrefutable proof, yet those things like the Boston Bombing, the Navy Yard shooting and others never get predicted and published ahead of time. Seems as if one of the predictions should come true or there should be a post from days or weeks or months ahead that was nice enough to provide the date of the events.

Is the world teetering? Sure. Do I credit somebody who can give me a span of days that will later have proven to be the major tipping point to a new way of life? Nope.
It's part of life that falls into the "But of that day and of that hour no one knows, not the angels in Heaven nor the Son, only the Father alone" category for me.

There's an old saying that you never hear the bullet that kills you. That's how I see it.

Always question what you believe the most. I have a self questioning belief that gives me some agnostic perspective any time some one gives me the " facts ". C5 rule of survival,... " Of all the things I distrust, I distrust my own beliefs and perception the most".

What???? The lights are still on? I didn't know they were as I've been in my off the grid underground bug out bunker in preparation for gridex! I guess it's time to take my tinfoil hat off and get back to my regular life then... 😀

What???? The lights are still on? I didn't know they were as I've been in my off the grid underground bug out bunker in preparation for gridex! I guess it's time to take my tinfoil hat off and get back to my regular life then... 😀
