New to the group. Anyone know of junk silver dealers on the Island? Also need to find a mylar or oxygen absorber dealer on the island.

Hello fellow islander! Not sure of any suppliers on the island. But I like Birden solutions out of Alberta. Shipping for that kind of stuff would be not very much.

Thanks for the welcome, and the info. As far as precious metals, I have used Northwest Territorial Mint, just south of Seattle. They always have a good supply of metals in any quantity.

I explained to the LDS folks that I was NOT a member and they were very cordial and invited me down to their facility and look around. I did purchase some O2 absorbers when I went there. Very impressive food storage and processing. By the way, the LDS has their latest version of their preparedness manual now available for free download in PDF format. 600 pages of info.
