Hello Stayin Alive and greetings from Northern Ontario.
...
I live close to Burnaby and just joined this blog... Also been prepping for a couple years, but have increased my preparedness over the last six months.
Interested in meeting like minded people but have been pretty careful about expanding my "in person" contact with others.
Having said that it seems a natural progression to contact others.
Send me a reply and we can figure out how to move forward. I have been checking out "group meetings" but have not nailed down a meeting, maybe that's a better way to connect initially?
What do you think?
Paradigm and other new preppers,
Yes, going to face-to-face meetings is the fastest way to make progress in your preps. An hour or two once a month or so, you can make contacts and expand your knowledge and get many more ideas than just reading these posts on the Forum. Make the leap of faith and meet other like-minded folks. Your personal network is what is going to save your arse in the SHTF scenario's that may be on the horizon. Until then you will learn some good stuff and make new friends.
Good luck,
Mountainman.
Stayin' Alive,
Are you still out there?? Did you make contact with a group of like-minded folks in your area?? How are your preps coming along??
Hope all is well,
Mountainman.
