On Saturday I attended a Scouting Event in Pitt Meadows. It's called Jamboree On The Air or JOTA for short.
This is an even that has a 57 year history. (started 1957) The local Radio club ran an excellent two hour program for the youth. They presented to 10 groups of six youth. Kids had a ball. I would like to send out a BIG Thanks for the RMARC or
Ridge Meadows Amateur Radio Club. Since I'm pretty sure one or two of them read these boards. Always remember that these guys and gals. will be the information hub when telecommunications goes down.
