Although I have generally only given this type of news article a passing glance, the subject of the Bacon Brothers and their history of violence, gang activity, crime, etc. on the Lower Mainland always makes me pause.
What is so curious to me is that all three brothers are involved. Their parents seem so ordinary, yet enabling of this kind of lifestyle.
Well, beyond that, as my mother always said: "If you want to stay out of trouble, stay away from it."
So far, so good.
You have a smart Mother, my Mom use to say something along the same lines. My take on the Bacon Brothers is our society condones this behavior of take what you like and to hell with others, and it starts from the top down. Its in bedded into our life's. How can we replace this idea of " its just the way it is", you can't possibly have respect if we see from birth that if you have power, money and position you can get away with almost any thing, until even the abusive become to crazy. Those at the top are the ones who have to set the moral path, and I don't see that happening to soon, we are fixated on the bling bling.
