At least the article didn’t call all preppers “tinfoil-hat-wearing-Rambos, but the writer still got the phrase in.
Interesting that the Mormon religion advocates the storing of food so that in times of crisis their family's of their faith will still be able to eat, but they are excluded from being called preppers.
Overall I liked that Alyshah Hasham, the writer of the piece didn’t try to paint all preppers with the same brush, but whether it was her or her editor they still managed to headline the article with a picture of what the public thinks a stereotypical prepper looks like.
We still need more people talking and spreading the message about the need for preparing for the worst case scenario, and if it never happens, great we have lots to eat and a safe place to live.
