Where is the cheapest place to buy ALICE packs? I'm on a VERY tight budget.
My only decent BOB pack is falling apart and needs replacing. So far they seem to all be about the same price everywhere so thought I would see if I'm missing a site or supplier with the best possible price.
Thanks everyone
Cheers
sorry, I'm in the london ON area. And 40$ is definately cheapest so far. Most are 70-90$.
Thanks I'll check out both those companies.
Cheers
You could try Forest City Surplus but I would be very careful going in there. Way too much cool stuff and you could end up spending a ton of money on impulse buys.

I love forest city surplus and im only about 20 minutes drive away but everytime i go there I spend way too much money and usually forget to buy what I actually went for. 🙂
I will try stopping in there to check out the packs but last time they only had medium used ones in fair condition and I would prefer to find a brand new one in the large size.
Cheers
Going through Forest City is like walking down memory lane. Being ex-military, with all the old uniforms good memories and some nightmares.

I have found that dealing with Sportman's Guide or Opsgear.com have been positive experiences for me. If you have the time to wait for a sale, then monitor their websites. Alice packs come on sale from time-to-time.

US Cav carries a good selection of ALICE equipment but shipping has been quite expensive until recently. You now have a choice of DHL or Fedex to get gear shipped to Canada. DHL is by far the more cost effective.
Hope that helps a little.
Another company to check on is CQMS Ltd, near Edmonton, AB. http://www.cqmsltd.com/
Just received the latest catalog from The Sportman's Guide. Page 27. "Veteran US Military Large A.L.I.C.E. Pack with Frame" for $44.97 if you are a Buyer's Club member or $49.97 for non-members. Item #: D2M-187168. Catalog# 235212.

Hope this helps some of you.
