Hi folks! Breastfeeding is the ultimate prepper tool. For those moms who can breastfeed, babies should be exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months, and even if the mom isn't drinking or eating as much as she normally does, she will still produce enough milk (the latest good news research ) It's always at the right temp, it doesn't require lugging equipment and it's not a prep you'll ever forget to bring with you.
Breastfeeding isn't always a snap though. Some babies get it right away, others take time. La Leche League is an excellent source of support and practical, hands on information however, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, other new moms etc can be a powerful support for breastfeeding women.
