Lets see. In 2011, natural disasters broke more than 3000 records world wide.
The European economy is about ready to collapse.
The U.S. economy is about ready to collapse.
In the last 100 years we have managed to increase the CO2 levels in our atmosphere by 30% (Discovery Channel documentary).
NASA is warning about massive solar flares and CME's wiping out our technology.
One quarter of the worlds wheat producing nations are having their crops destroyed by wheat stem rust (the only cure is fire).
Health organizations around the world are almost in a panic about the next flu pandemic.
Governments are becoming more totalitarian in response to terrorism.
These are just some of the credible threats to us peons.
NOW, the geniuses that are running the U.S. and the geniuses that are running Iran want to get into a pissin' contest. Some days I actually hope for TEOTWAWKI so that we can look forward to a more certain future.

That's my rant for now.

We will see war in Iran. Not justified, just warmongering.

Don't panic. Just prep. Use the resources that your wealth of knowledge and God (if you choose to have one) has given you, and if you can, steer clear of the cities. If your feeling a little TOO freaked out by what the media is spewing out, simply turn off the TV, put your head down and quietly do what you feel you must do. Follow your gut.
What will be, will be. We are humans. We always "somehow" survive just like the rats and the crocodiles.

I wanted to post a link for a doc that I found to be very inspiring from the Documentary Wire website. But DW is "BLOCKED-CENSORSHIP IN PROGRESS", protesting SOPA. They have "gone dark from 8am-12am."
When the site is up and running I suggest you watch "The Collective Evolution 11: The Human Experience. True or false it might give you a little bit of hope, even if it's just at the time that you're watch the video.

Potential disaster. For about 20 mins. this evening I couldn't access the CPN. I felt an incredible sense of isolation - all of the members, and information possibly lost. All of the links that I said one day I would get around to reading or downloading, gone. No warning, just gone. A MOMENT OF WHAT I THINK HELL MIGHT BE!
But then, a second chance. Here we are.

Ruffinit, I am glad you got to reading some more from the site.

You might want to go and take some notes, download some info while you are here. Cheers and have a great weekend

Nothing is certin, all you can do is be ready for anything that comes your way. What really troubles me is the solar flares they have been talking about and how our society would deal with having nothing to rely on but themselves. I know people that would be lost without a cell phone or gps.

I just watched a youtube video where they talked about FEMA internment camps. They showed a map of North America and the locations of these camps. 7 of them are in Canada at various military bases. Funny thing, I'm very familiar with some of these bases and I have never seen anything that could even remotely be mistaken for an internment camp. Not by any stretch of the imagination. Stories like that kind of make you wonder why the general public thinks that preppers all wear tinfoil hats. Anyways, I guess that I'll go put on my hat and wait for the aliens to invade from the planet Niburu and turn us all into zombies. Or was that pod people, I can never keep it all straight.

The sooner the cell network goes down the better, 99% of people wouldnt know what to do, you are right though, the internet has some merits.

I have always felt that when I go to the great beyond, there are two people I want to meet and have some serious words with. That dirty, rotten, "$^%$^&" that invented the alarm clock and the pond scum who invented the cellphone. 😈 😆
