It's the same file....I did that especially for the dyslexic people 😆
So how come many download this program but no one seems to comment on it's worthiness? How will I ever know if it is useful or useless?
All that I can perceive so far is that it does that which I intended as I wrote it. I'm sure that it works as it should but unsure as to it's ease of other's understanding how to use it properly. I could not include popup text to help you better understand each step as the more complex the program became, the larger the file and I had to keep it under the 256K mark to upload it here. Second, if it becomes too complex, it wouldn't run on every OS platform as it does right now.
I'd like to know that the text instructions are enough that the majority at least can figure the program out. Many of you have knowledge on various topics included that may contradict my formulas and thus make this area misleading or completely inaccurate such as gardening. I only used data that I found online as I have absolutely no personal knowledge to share on this subject. Same goes for the Forest Gardening aspect too. I learned alot about nutrition as I wrote this and thus realized I really knew nothing of this subject until I did.
Some earlier mentioned as I wrote that I should keep it simple and I really did try to do just that. So does everyone just collect such things and just file them for another day? Or is it my charming "in yer face" personality that prevents you from commenting... if so I'll have you know that I'm all out of stamps so letter boombs are out my reach at this time! 😎
Winter is coming .. will be looking at , Thankyou Knuckle
Oii Knuckle,
I want to put those links in my blogs so people can have some ideas. I've realized that Headcounts + Daycounts = Headache, and those sheets really can help. Need a few days to write down some articles.
Or do you have a site or blog that I can promote?
Well I thought you're a no holds barred mean machine rambo type of guy 😀 And now after re-read some of your posts plus found those sheets of yours then I realize dang, this guy is not only a tech savvy but also quite an excellent planner.
Regret comes last, if it comes early its called registration!
In the end, only fellow preppers truly respects other preppers.
When nothing happens, the world will laugh at you.
When SHTF, what will happen when they found out you got supplies?

Great to hear that you found my stuff and thus might have then even peeked into them too. No, I don't have my own website, and yes, feel free to share them as long as they remain free to others. I hope finally maybe others will share their thoughts as to what needs improvement or clarity.
I know that there is tons of data showing and this might overwhelm the user if they let it. I could have hid much of this data, but then I assumed folks would wonder if the figures were trustworthy, so I opted to let them follow the trail by even leaving the formulas open to view too. This also allows others to better find code errors I may have missed.
I dropped many ideas I had for expansion as size and complexity would limit it's use to strictly PC's where many can now use this simple version even on their phones and tablets. This should help when restocking to meet your new goals.
Seems this forum showed me that many variables could occur to change any preparations one made and I then realized that a system had to be created where one could quickly evaluate this present inventory to match. If you lost some food supplies to storm, theft or such, if you needed know which items you could afford to trade for something other required item... and so on!
I started with concept of inventory as just shelf items (upstairs and down) and then included such as pail contents as that is what many preppers discussed. Then I had to figure a way to literally tally such things in a manner that would work when a recount was necessary. Seems items in a pail are less likely to be altered as "out of sight, out of mind" aids in this. Then the idea of mixing the contents seemed more logical as you could live off 1 pail for [X] amount of days instead of cracking 5 pails to make a meal. You also then quickly divide pails to different locations or sell a pail if needed without as much consideration to creating imbalances in your present system... yes? Yet someone might discover another option that could work even better....if you tell me, I might change to that approach instead if it works better yet.
Again, it's the garden aspect that needs proving most. It's the goal of any prepper to become self sufficient and thus this region needs to be the most accurate. All I've done is create that which I assume should work.... I have no hands on experience to know if the input data is worthy or accurate enough to make predictions as they do... that is for the gardeners here to prove or disprove! I hope they will share their knowledge after using this program to perfect this aspect as it is priority to each user attaining self sufficiency.

I am taking inventory using your spreadsheet, which so far is great! I need to unprotect the sheet to add more descriptions. Do you mind giving me the password please?
I'll let you know how this works as I progress. 🙂
Just popped in and thought I'd check to see how the sheet was working out for you. Did you get it all worked out?
I will be trying this out Knuckle. Thanks ahead of time. I've just been so busy.
