I have a barren backyard and was planning to list my house for sale. so that I could move from Oakville to Montreal in my new house. Before I sell the house I am planning on doing a proper inexpensive gardening and then list it for sale. Went through many articles randomly and came up with one which was related to Eco friendly window sill planting and on landscape with local flavors. But that really caught my eye , imported grass and plants really can cost more right so, if I have those local green grasses and plants which are suitable with our climate would be a really great choice. I really want to have some suggestion on this because I hope a pretty decent looking backyard can earn me a little bit more.
hello, I recommend that you consider starting your own plants from seed to cut costs, and as you are in Oakville, get a few of the bigger pots of things you want as a center plant and then put fast growing cheap flowering plants and then use mulch to fill the rest of the space in the beds as its pretty, attractive and less costly then plants, also check if there is a local freecycle plant group in your area, it can keep starting costs down
