That's certainly a interesting project to take on, tracking will certainly be a huge part of that, but at least the weighin's and out will be a very natural part of the system, I wish you the very best of luck in working towards this goal and hope that you get lots of interest in your CSA

Okay so starting today I am taking note of all the produce we grow, not just what we sell.

Just pulled up 30 garlic bulbs, enough for us only so next year I will plant lots more.
Hung them up near the doorway to dry...that'll keep the vampires at bay, oh but I think I will move them into the shed tomorrow 😆

Trying out the 'Back to Eden' garden methods and so far so good. We spread out a pile of newspaper today, raked over some mushroom compost and then topped that with a thick layer of tea tree mulch and small wood chips. I threw a few hand fulls of chook manure over the top to give back a bit of nitrogen, I wanted to do a chook manure liquid fertilizer so it would soak through but the long awaited ominous black clouds were fast approaching so I ran out of time, oh and day light.
Between the mushroom compost, sweat and then chook poop I was a VERY smelly gardener! 😉

OK, I've been guilted into weighing my produce this year because of the diligence of others 😳 . So far nothing is ready (yet) apart from some salad greens. Seedlings are being hardened up prior to planting out. Cares I don't have a camera (and my mobile phone is old and all I get are fuzzy blobs when I use it to take photo's. I'm planning on getting a camera shortly and I promise I'll post some photo's of my tiny little backyard farm.
