Kindle for MAC or PC or even iPhone is free to download and thats where I have all of my amazon books 🙂 I rarely buy them, I am always downloading freebies though!

Backup, backup, backup. You can never have too many backups. I keep all my Kindle books on my pc as well as my ebook reader . My pc drive is fully backed up to another drive in a different location. Then all my important files like my kindle books, PDF's and software installation files are backed up to another external usb hard drive. This one spends most of its time hidden in its metal fortress deep in the bowls of the earth. Anyone might think that I am afraid of losing my info!
Memory sticks!!!! I have dozens and I trade with my friend in the US (some downloads they get that we don't and vice versa!)
