If you have never heard of PastorDowell on youtube, I suggest you take a few moments to check him out. Of all the prepper channels out there, he is by far the man with the most wisdom I have come across, and frequently helps me to interpret and understand the world events. In my opinion, if you are a serious prepper, you should have him in your subscription list.

Hi David. I do have an interest in current events as related in prophecy, and I did give the pastor the benefit of checking out the youtube video you posted.
On a personal level, I find it interesting that there are a number of pastors who claim the benefit of owning gold and silver but then ignore the prophecy of Ezekiel 7:19 which says "They cast their silver into the streets, and their gold is like an unclean thing. Their silver and gold are not able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord. They cannot satisfy their hunger or fill their stomachs with it. For it was the stumbling block of their iniquity."

Thank you for the links, OutandAbout. As far as the scripture you mentioned, though, I don't see the problem with Pastors or anyone holding gold. All that scripture says is that you can not buy your way out of judgment. Whenever it is that the Most High has determined to repay this wicked country for all it's wickedness, no one's gold or silver will help them in any way, because there is no escape of the Most High's judgments.
But until that day, you better have some gold/silver.
