Merl's new group is going to try to attack the gang, and will be fended off. During the scuffle, Merl will somehow be injured (possibly by his own brother) and left for zombie fodder and reappear sometime in season 4 with a missing leg or something.

Granted but what do you think would happen if 6 or 7 men all slowly dying and going insane from radiation poisoning and lack of fresh air and sunlight were sealed in a small space for weeks and months on end with only two women? They certainly wouldn't be playing patty cake and having sing alongs thats for sure. The movie should be a wake up call for anyone who thinks they can easily survive for a long time in extremely close quarters with random strangers. It wouldn't end well thats for sure. Definitely a weird, creepy and ultimately scary to imagine being in that situation kind of movie.
And for the sake of the thread topic: I'm loving the new season of WD! Should be interesting when the group makes contact with the Governors people including the brother that they left for dead on the rooftop.
