There are not many people realize that we are preppers, and only a couple of family members that know to what extent. We try to blend into the community.

To avoid drawing attention we do not.

1. Wear camo only when hunting or in the woods. never to Walmart.
2. I never post hunting or gun stickers advertising the NRA for example on your car.
3. Avoid like the plague the little white figures of mom, dad, two kids and a dog on the back window. Too much info.
4. When buying preps in any quantity have a quick response because as the cashier is nosey.
5. Be careful about what you leave in plain sight around the house that can be seen by visitors or people at the door.
6. Do not store your preps in plain sight of the plumber, meter reader, or furnace guy.

There are lots more but I'm interested what others do.

No guns on Facebook/etc. Or for that matter, anything else I guess. I don't need all the idiots I know crashing my place.
Perhaps cover the clear plastic slot in a wallet/purse so no one can catch a glimpse of name, address, etc. I usually cover my license/HC with my Outdoors Card (Since its not that unordinary) or a CAA card or backwards business card.
Personally, I've started keeping my debit card in a separate wallet. If you search for the vvault wallet (yes, 2 v's), its really just a little pouch I sewed out of two piece of leather. That way no one has the chance to look in my wallet.

Exactly Use cash, I have not used my debit card in 2 years. Combination of using cash and distancing myself from stores which require or have membership/points cards, for all your purchaces are logged and tracked. And unfortunatly I had created a facebook page that cannot be reversed so any posts or pictures or information given can and will be tracked. Being careful who you tell about your crazy accusations on recent events around the world, because we all know how radical we must seem to the average sheep...
