Perhaps you would like to give us some ideas of exactly what you have in mind. I have read the kibbutz info 4 times and I think it's great however I would love to hear what YOU would like to do specifically. Have you ever been to a kibbutz or lived in one? I think that would be an interesting experience! Have you read in depth about the idea? Could you point us to some books or websites that talk more about it?
I would love to hear more! It sounds like an ideal way to do things and it seems to work.
In many respects a kibbutz is similar to an organised prepper group with a permanent location. However members of the group are all pretty devote members of the same religious group. For a kibbutz this is the primary binding factor. What do you feel would be the main factor that would hold together such a prepper community as you are suggesting? With a wide diversity of members do you not think it would be difficult to ensure universal respect for all members? Prepper groups that have been formed have taken time and have been very discriminating in choosing their members for exactly that reason. The group has to be cohesive or it simply will not survive. Having a "code of conduct" alone would not cut it in my opinion. To be a member of a group all members must be like-minded in many areas and must have much more in common than the basic concept of prepping. I would like to see what your thoughts are on these matters.
Where are you located ferjuna and where do you propose to develop your kibbutz?
