I have read through the FAQ section on posting private messages and some how I must be missing a step. I have two private messages sitting in my Outbox that have not sent. Just wondering what I am doing wrong. I tried contacting admin, but that is one of the messages. Any thoughts or suggestion?

Zippy, i believe they stay in the outbox until the recipient sees/ retrieves them. I have several myself, for ages now 🙂

Welcome. I spent some time growing up in Sherwood Hell. Do you live on a street that starts with the letter G? Im surprised anyone is trying food preservation and gardening there. LOL

PMs are sort of confusing here. If it sits in the outbox, it just means no one has read it. They might have been gone from the board along time ago

I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.

When you first register to the board, you go through a sort of "trial" period for your first 3 posts.
These first posts are moderated, meaning that they are read and approved by myself or a moderator.
This keeps the spammers, political activists, and the "niburu end of the world is neigh" types out and keeps the board on the track of prepping.
Once you have 3 approved posts, you are no longer moderated and have the ability to PM other members.
These PMs stay in your outbox until read by the recipient...yes, this can sometimes take some time as many members will not log on, but simply read through as a guest.

Thanks for the info on the messaging. Understand now and won't be concerned. Cernunnos5...nope no "G" street for me. Not sure about whether others are into preserving or gardening, but I sure have been enjoying it. I prefer to know what is in my food as well as having a stockpile for the winter months. *grin*
