How long have you been prepping

Well - it's a bit of a trick question. I've been prepping for a long time but I am still not totally prepared - who is? 🙂 Life, finances and circumstances always get in the way.

My answer is the same as Anita's

Yes, hard to answer that question as written. Prepping done in my teens has little to do with how I prepped in my thirties which has even less to do with how I prep now. Im not sure what totally prepared is. I suppose that I am prepared enough that I could stop prepping...but living the life that my prepping has lead me to is sort of like going to work each day.

Oh hang on. Im channeling some dead zen jedi master...ohmmm.." If the world ends Right Now, Im as prepared as Im ever going to be" lol. Not quite as profound as "If a tree falls in the forest" or the sound of one hand clapping....but I did make it up on the spot under pressure

Don't get too hung up on the words...it's the time that is the important thing.
If I could edit the poll it would probably read more like "I'm, like, you know, like, totally like, into it"

We have been prepping for a lot longer then 5 years but you can never be fully prepared.

Your life, the world, your health, family situation, technology, priorities are constantly changing as should be your preps.

Sorry but... the question is how long have you been prepping, but the answers don't quite fit in my case. For instance, if I were to select 5 years, that is accompanied by the comment that I'm fully prepped, which isn't and can't be true. You asked for participation, but the structure of the available answers doesn't fit my situation.

Almost 20 years now. I may not have enough or everything I want....but I'm ready in mind and attitude. I believe that's the most important object, if you will, for me. Always looking at something and thinking......what can I make this work for me right now.

About a year. Looking forward to adding to my knowledge and skill sets.

Been prepping now for two years. Didn't realise I was a prepper. Really into it now.
