I have been looking at the mehu-lilisa steam Juicer and wondered if it was worth the price.

Has anyone used one of these? Based on what I read it can be used for distilling water as well.

I have looked at these before as well and it got me thinking of all kinds of things.
Making good old apple juice or maybe even raspberry juice.
Then I thought, Well; perhaps I could get a few carboys and some champaign yeast and make some good wines out of whatever I found to turn into juice.
Then haha I thought, I might just be able to use that cool looking juicer to turn my wines into something a little stronger. In theory, it should work well. Just gotta get the temp around 75 to 80 degrees c and it should allow only the alc to vapor out and I could use a cooler packed with snow or ice to condense my high proof nectar. I should be able to cut it with pure juice to reduce the alc per volume into something I could stand drinking.
Perhaps I don`t need to take it that far. But instead be happy with canned juice, wine and jelly. At any rate, If you do get one before me and all, let me know how it worked for you and all.

Thanks answering

I have to admit I woke up this morning wondering if it would be easier just to build a still. The one on M.A.S.H. looked really cool 🙂

You will most likely get yours first. Would love a review after you get it.

I have one 🙂 I was hoping to put it to good use last year but with the apple and berry crop failures around here there wasn't much to juice so it stayed in the box. My berry bushes are loaded this year and I haven't heard anything negative about the apple crop so I will let you know!

I did use it to steam a few chickens but I've found easier ways to do that.

I am interested in it, I got a chance to use one and I didn't find it worth the work for the difference in what I got compared to my normal way, so I will also look forward to the review on it.. I found a old, old one at a farm sale and it went cheap, no one wanted to buy it, I didn't either, it was huge!, can't imagine lifting that when full..
