I wish to apologise for anything that I have said which may have caused any distress to any member on this forum.

I am offering my sincere apologies and hope that my withdrawing from this forum will go some way towards repairing any animosity I may have created.

You're a great group of people - and I'm going to miss all of you.
Take care.

I have only been here a short time but have found you to be both fun and ethical in every way. Regardless of perception.. either yours or his.. it is a 2 way street and neither or both can accept some degree of responsibility. In the end it is just that... perception. My condolences for your loss and hopes that you will stay. If you leave it will be a loss for every one of us.

Sincerely,
JAB

Thank you JAB & WR -
I'm still feeling "fragile" at this stage - will participate when I feel more able to cope.

(((((( hugs)))))) Take the time you need. If you need to vent or just talk please do. Sometimes it is only necessary to have an available ear.

I know one person who thinks that I have "judged" him - this conception is truly wrong as I have the utmost respect for not only his integrity (personal and service to his country), but his openness in sharing his knowledge. You are truly a remarkable man - that is my honest opinion (not what you "thought" that I was implying in a recent post).

Perhaps my perception of how I was writing posts was impaired due to a recent (premature) death in the family (but that's my problem and has nothing to do with anyone else) - however, regardless of how I feel at the moment, it's not an excuse for any distress I may have unknowingly caused. I am offering my sincere apologies and hope that my withdrawing from this forum will go some way towards repairing any animosity I may have created.

I am so sorry for your loss.

But don't you dare give up on us or I will send my brother over to kick your bum. 😀

I don't post often but I always enjoy your thoughts, comments, humour and links. Misunderstandings happen. I work in adult education and I see how easily it happens amongst people who are in the same room; let alone when people are trying to type the nuances of human emotion and personality.

Please don't stay away too long.

Morning Susannah. Time to cut yourself a break girl and stop beating yourself up. Stuff happens. No one is flawless thats what makes us interesting. Sometimes the communications between the thought and the typing, though the same, some how reads differant. Smile and carry on.

Susannah,

Sorry to learn of your loss. I hope you are doing better. I hope your family is getting better, too.

I don't check these pages too often, so I am a little tardy in making this post, Sorry, about that. I truly hope when the time is right that you continue to post. I, too, enjoy your humour and wit. If someone on this site is very thin skinned and took offence, they should have tried to clarify the statement to determine if there was any offence intended. We are all big kids here and as such, we should all behave accordingly. Misunderstanding do occur but that should not make a contributor, especially a major contributor, to this site feel like they are not welcome or wanted.

I hope to see your posts again in the near future. I understand, family first. That is a great practice.

All the best to you and your family,

Mountainman.

IM BACK...what did Suzannah do now? I missed it. Someone give me the low down in 1,000 words or less. Oldschool, understood you'll need about 6,000 words or more....(you can't shut her up!!!) When did this forum turn so miserable? When I took a break probably.....we'll have to inject some fun back into your lives. Me? Sold 8 of 10 of those bloody puppies...IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. Two left....thinking of drowning them or putting them to work on the farm pulling a large horse plough....unless anyones in the market for two very large Rottweiler/ Mastiff puppies. I also opened what I believe to be a recession proof business....a meth lab...no....a laundromat. I always get those two mixed up. Bought some more silver, started setting up my hydroponics, bought loads of tinned crap and bottled water...etc, etc, etc

Anyway, enough about me....where's the crazy Aussie at???
