Had 14 I picked off my shirt and another 12 on the pant leg. That was one 200 yard walk near the bush line.

Can you spray for them?

First get something really sharp, like an icepick. Then ya gotta shave one side of you. When that's done, light the other side on fire. As the ticks are jumping out of the fire to the safe side, you skewer them with the icepick and add them to your tick soup. 😀

I think I am going to till the line where I believe the deer come in. I am actually going to try doing about 3 acres worth of tilling. Cat had a couple near the ear canal this year as well. Spraying for ticks is a losing venture. I was the dumb tard for not having my DEET on. Can handle and let crawl all sorts of things and just brush them off but ticks give me the willies. Had one totally inside my ass cheek one time as well as under my scalp.

Survivalist is like the degree of roughing it when traveling. To some, roughing it means being in a hotel below their stature. Where others can do with what’s on their backs and in their pockets. Preppers go to the same extremes, One has a bunker, 20 guns w/10000 rounds, and enough supplies to last them 10 years unassisted. The other lives in a high rise apartment with 3 weeks of food and a bicycle.
A Prepper/Survivalist meets somewhere in the middle, or not at all.
There are many degrees of either, but in the end, you will have survived because you are prepared, or just dumb lucky. 😐
