I would have to go with what has been discussed with our group, it depends on where you live as to when or if you bug in or evacuate....Big city situations are way different then the surrounding small towns....Any major disruption of services in any big city, will cause major problems..we have seen this just recently, and we are still seeing it on the east coast...Also with what Denob said, as prepper's we should see the righting on the wall and be long gone if it comes to an evacuation situation.....Also with ICRCC's post he is dead on..As a member of search and rescue an all volunteer group , we in Alberta are tasked by the R.C.M.P. and fall under the command of the Alberta fire chief.... we would knock on your door and advise you of an evacuation situation...its your choice if you leave, the authorities can keep you from going back in but not remove you by force.....Now in a definite life and death situation such as a rail car with chlorine gas derailed in or near a urban center or as the tracks run through the middle of Calgary, that may be a different situation and the authorities may be granted special powers to remove you for your own saftey...This I am not sure of....Maybe some one with experience or legal knowledge can chime in here....

Better to have it and not need it; then to need it and not have it...
