On the subject of government surveillance, I just finished reading Brad Thor’s latest book titled, Black List and it sure opened my eyes up even wider than they had been when it comes to how deep government surveillance is going into our lives.
He backs up his story with lots of facts from various reputable sources.
I recommend the book not only for its story but for your own education.
While on the subject of government surveillance I have been enjoying a TV series titled, Person of Interest, which also goes into how deep the governments eyes are into our lives.
I recommend both the book and the TV series both for enjoyment as well as subjects of discussion.
While I know that this is Canada and we are not being surveilled as much as our American neighbours, I do know that what happens in the USA usually comes north not too long after.

If our government was not conducting any surveillance it would not be doing its job. Canada would be a less safe place to live. The question is I guess where do you draw the line. There is an old saying "people with nothing to hide, hide nothing". The book Black List sounds good, I'll pick up a copy. Thanks for the info.
Hi ICRCC:
I agree with you that a certain amount of surveillance is necessary but what is going on in the USA is beyond comprehension, unless you are a fan of the book 1984, and then it is just about right.
I have liked Brad Thor’s writing for quite some time and he has always backed up his story lines with hard cold facts, just like he has with Black List.
If you get the book drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Will do. Thanks Cap.
