My favourite miscellaneous great ideas for the moment are:
1 redworm assisted composting toilet to detoxify the nasty stuff
2 pop can solar heater
3 red sheathing tape - got this tip from an arctic circle magazine, they love it there for it's tenacity & versatility even in extreme conditions. I still like duct tape but it's let me down in a number of applications, after I read the article, I didn't want to get caught without this valuable tool.

Is Red Sheathing tape the same as the Red Plastic tape, the type you use to make the plastic air tight in your house as you build?
