I have been thinking lately that I should be printing out a pile of info I may need in a SHTF situation, there is such a wealth of info on the net and I would hate to lose access to it.
So perhaps I could make folders for different topic e.g. gardening, first-aid, herbal medicine, survival skills etc
I have heaps of books as well but keep procrastinating about printing stuff off the net.

Has anyone else bothered to do this sort of thing???

I do this all the time. You are right, there is a ton of info out there in the form of free ebooks. I used to work at a printing company so it was easy to get a favor from one of the digital pressman to run me off a copy of something I found on the net. This was great for the bigger ones with a few hundred pages.
Some of the books I have printed include Square Foot Gardening, Where there is no Doctor, and many others. I have the smaller ones in 3 ring binders by category...gardening, alternative energy, livestock, etc.
I also organized all my ebooks, weather I have a print version or not, onto an 8gb usb drive or in the case of my CD3WD set, on DVD. The next step is to buy an inexpensive laptop and put it all into a faraday box.
If you have some bigger books, try your local copy center...I think staples does it too...they will be able to print it out and even bind it with those plastic spiral things for a reasonable fee.

Hmmm...that's it I'm gunna do it!

I love the books on this site http://www.soilandhealth.org/ (a link off http://www.earthlypursuits.com/index.htm ) as they are old and cover the ways they farmed before heavy chemical use.
The spiral binding is a good idea, I will check out who does it in town and get some done.

BTW I love your tag line, I can really relate to that as it is the story of my life 😆
