Thanks for that info GD.

Seeing I had purchased some not to long ago, I was wondering about those little green bottles. I hate to toss anything out that might still be useful.
I had asked around here, but no one seemed to think they were worth keeping cause they 'could not be refilled".

Adapter now on list to check out. 🙂

If you are going to refill 1lb propane tanks PLEASE look into the proper method and safety precautions. After you refill the tanks do a soap test to ensure there are NO LEAKS from the screw connector or the safety vent. Even the smallest leak can be catastrophic if stored or used in an enclosed space. Save money certainly... but ALWAYS be safe.

Very good reminder for us all, JAB.

I for one have a very deep respect for what propane can do. Always have my trusty bottle to check each connection. Been laughed at for that....
Hey, rather hear the sound of laughter then..... KABOOM. 😉

They were not passed in canada untill 3ish years ago -they had to do abunch of tests! But its always a good idea to check all your tanks and connections ...just like the other gents mentioned.

Thanks for that! I just bought a Big Buddy heater and I thought I had to throw out the 1 lb bottles. I feel better about it now.
