Ok. Well it is one approach. It works yes but in the SHTF situation would it not be more prudent to brandish a weapon on the outside of the body where everyone can see it? Hence less likely to want to mess with you? Just a thought.

I really don't intend to be out and about in the event of a SHTF scenario if I can help it, and I would prefer to blend in with the masses if I had to be out. Liking this is probably a "female thing", it's small and would be well hidden until it was needed- but I do see your point. Thanks for the feedback.

Different ill give you that, not a big fan though kinda looks like an accident waiting to happen, when she pulls the gun out most of the time the gun is pointed directly at herself, granted its not a long time but accidents do only take miliseconds. Im with ICRCC on this one showing your weapon is a deterant, It makes them think twice.

I think showing a weapon would scare off a few but more then likely make you a target for anyone that doesn't have a weapon. I would only show my gun if I have a backup gun to fight back if someone tries to take it. Think about it your in Canada where guns especially handguns are not as common as other countries there is no law and your walking around with a pistol on your belt. I can guarantee you first chance another person gets to hit you and take your weapon they will guaranteed there are some very big men out there and when all is gone to hell the ones with the guns are in charge. If your a woman and alone your screwed don't show any weapons unless your in a group or have more then one option. Best bet is to blend in get what you can to survive keep your guns well secured. I'm all for concealment. People are more likely to be friendly and less intimidated by someone who is not brandishing a sidearm, rifle or machete. When in military garb back in Asia, we would sling our rifles and take off our helmets when approaching villagers for directions or information, and even then, people would sometimes run away or avoid us. But in civilian clothing with a concealed sidearm? They'd still be hawking street food and not give me a second glance.

Sorry Laddie, but, she would have time to get away before your body temp drops enough for the detonator goes off. What you are probably thinking of is a heart beat monitor with the alarm hook up to a cap. Or a foil sandwich vest, 3 parts waxed paper 2 parts A. foil. Then there’s an electrical Gravity monitor/trauma meter that could set it off. One of the easiest though, to set up is your mercury switch, but don’t bend down or sneeze to hard. The only limits is your knowledge and imagination.
