I'd like to hear what some of you have in your bug out bag? Give me your inventory. What's missing in your BOB? What are you still planning to buy?
I want to use this as an opportunity to gather ideas as to what I need to add to my shopping list.
So far I figure I can carry 3 heavy bags on my back. 1. The master BOB and 2. The medical supplies bag and 3. The tent.
The wife can carry our son in a baby carrier and a backpack on her back with what will likely be baby supplies. Thoughts?

Looking forward to hearing from you good people!

More of a bug out case really, and it's already overflowing. I'm more inclined to bug in and only leave as needed. But:

2x Solar lanterns that can charge via car/usb/ac.
1x Solo Stove Titan with backup methanol burner
1x Hatchet
1x Hand crank radio
1x 20 foot length of paracord
1x St. John's first aid manual
1x Book of edible/medicinal plants (on order)
1x Adventure Medical - Back Country First Aid Kit
1000x Redbird Matches (more coming)
1x Firesteel 2.0
5x Bic lighters

I have other preps, and I'm far from finished. But that's the stuff in the Pelican case, plus the first aid kit. It's the closest to a bug out bag I currently have...unless you count my quad, which is also well stocked.

Edit:
Oh and a magnifying glass (another fire starting implement).

Good day Ukranian Canuck,

Having been browsing Preppers websites for a few years now, I'm getting to think that bug out bags are as personal as underwear preferences, so it is really what you want to get in it and want to carry; unlike in the military, there won't be a "kit inspection". People are also quite opinionated on that topic, so take some and leave some when it comes to suggestions. Their "look-at-my-super-mega-$15,000-bug-out-bag" may not get you nearly as turned on as it does to them, so don't get intimidated.

There are already quite a few topics on Bug out bags here on IPN. Using the search function at the top of the page would take you to them, but here are a few that expanded into lengthier discussions:

http://internationalpreppersnetwork.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=401&hilit=Bug+out+bag

In fact, someone asked the very same question you are posing now: http://internationalpreppersnetwork.net/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1511&hilit=Bug+out+bag

Happy prepping!

My BOB is completely empty 😆
If I need to bug out from here, the world is in serious trouble and I doubt there would be anywhere left to go!

I don't have one either but I'm not under threat from earthquake, tsunami, or hurricane. I guess I have a get home bag(or stay in place bag) in the car for winter.
