Just what I would expect from what I've seen. The guys who market the Bio-lite belong on late night TV.
Do a search to see if there's a Sayal electronics supply near you. They probably have the heat modules.

I remember seeing the Bio-lite a while back and being very impressed and considering buying one but I'm glad I didnt. I mean after 2.5 hours of constant feeding of the fire and all Brian could get was a 15% charge, thats piss poor performance IMHO. I carry a rechagable battery pack that will recharge my Galaxy 3 1.5 times and it cost me $30. I've been debating getting a solar charger for some time now. I noticed Costco has a really nice packable 7W binder style array for just over $100. They claim it will charge 4xAA batteries which are included in 3-4 hours of direct sunlight. The way I see it, if I can't fully charge my phone and maybe a few batteries for flashlights each day then its not worth a damn for my purposes.

I bought this stove years ago, and like it in a novelty sort of way... it is pretty high maintenance, with it's insatiable appetite for little sticks. I was disappointed that I bought it when it first came out, because they have since added the cookware... however, in my efforts to use up my Air Miles, I was thrilled to see I could get the whole bundle... no cost, and shipped free to my door! They said it would be delivered in 4 weeks, and it arrived in less than 1. Impressive! Has anyone found anything else of prepping value with their Air Miles? I have a few more to use up.
