Hi all,
I live in Burnaby BC, and am starting to prep. Have several caches of drinking water that I change regularly, am trained in first aid, and am on an Emergency Response Team at work that does exercises fairly regularly, mainly focusing on earthquake readiness. I don't have a bugout location, but do have plenty of camping gear, and lots of camping experience. Also have a portable ham radio, several GMRS radios, a 4x4, and some expertise in alternate energy sources such as solar & wind. Looking forward to meeting others and learning more about prepping!

Hi Claymation, welcome. I'm new to the board too (as of last week) but was able to attend a local meeting last night with some other folks on the board. It was a good meeting and I met some very pleasant and interesting people with a variety of practical and needful skills and good ideas. Hopefully you will be able to attend the next local meeting.
Thanks for the welcome dioptase & ICRCC! Dioptase, I saw that I joined a day late for the local meeting, but hope there will be another one soon!
