Welcome to the forum, I doubt the learning ever stops and we seem to get a little more prepped in small bite size pieces . You live in an interesting area for earthquake risk , have you got a plan for that ? I am in Langley and maybe I am paranoid but I seem to find a lot of things that I feel I would be better off to work towards being better prepared for : ) Even so I still have not got all my securing of items on shelves and things done for that . One more thing on a long list : )
Syn, - I think both my wife and I both have basic earthquake preparedness bags, but I've been added more and more. When the big one comes, can't really stop it, just prepare for it.
I'm more interested in preparing for the situations and problems that comes after the 72 hours. Social breakdown, food and medical crisis. Hopefully it will never get to lawlessness.
Bugging out to another location will be difficult, not only for Richmond, but many parts of the lower mainland as we are all surrounded by water. But we will perservere one way or another.
