Hi there
My wife and I are new to prepping and self sustaining lifestyle. I was a city boy growing up and never had the opportunity to learn about fishing, hunting, survival ect. We have been trying to educate ourselves and have turned our little 1/8 acre yard into a micro homestead with chickens for eggs, rabbits for meat, and gardens and greenhouse for veggies.
I've taken the course and applied for my PAL and done the BC Hunting course and applied for my hunters cert. (next I need to find someone to hunt with who wont mind going out with a neophyte).
I will be retiring from the Navy soon and hoping to be able to find a small acreage and house somewhere that I can afford on my small military pension. We're afraid that we will have to move to NB.
Okay I guess that's enough rambling for my introduction.
