Thanks Checkmate. I tried to catch them, but I did it mostly on my android tablet which doesn't seem to have very good spell check.

And the meeting is a go at the Henderson why public library. They have meeting rooms that we as a 'not for profit' group can use. Although it is first come first serve. The library opens at 10am so he said just to be there first and its ours.

I will try to make the meeting but work may get in the way. What is the address of the library on Henderson or is there only one.
Thx

Hey Daxdog, I completely understand. Hopefully , can make it.

The library is at 1050 Henderson Hwy. It's in the parking lot with the co-op the Tim Horton's.

Hey Daxdog, I don't blame you. I'd be sleeping for a whole day after that. There were some well prepped BOBs. I definitely need to do some work on my own (although, I don't prep to bug out but more for a survival bush bag).
For the next meet, if you have any suggestions that would be great.

We could always do camp out. Just a one night thing. Sit around the fire and tell stories.

Hey! Guys,
It was a lot of fun today. It was nice to meet a few people today. If we're gonna do a camp-out, be nice to do it before the mosquitoes and black flies come out. If we can't do the camp-out the Henderson Library was a good spot for a meeting.

A camp out would be awesome. We could head to the forest somewhere, or if we wanna stay close, there's a spot in the bush at Cooks Creek C.C. Near the creek. A couple other dudes (from Borealis Bushcraft, not to be confused with Chekmate's Boreal Bushcrafters, did so one night. A fire is no problem there).

So how about for the next meeting on May 14th (the second Saturday) we head into the bush for the night? I suppose we could either do it Friday night, or Saturday to Sunday. If another day is preferable we can change it. Or to keep and build the consistency keep it on the second sat o the month.

Evening! Westshield,

I think May 13 or 14th will work for me. We can either have the meeting Saturday morning at the Henderson Library or plan an overnight for the 13th or 14th. The sooner the better! With the lack of snow in Manitoba this year, they might shut down any camping because of the chance for forest fires. I'll let everyone know in the next few days if I can do the overnight on the 13th or 14th. Also sunset is not until 9pm that weekend in May. Gives us that little extra light for either evening.
