I'm a fellow prepper, trying his hand at writing a book about prepping. I love writing. I tend to write like I'd talk so I'm likely NOT one of those "less is more" people or writers. But what you will get from what I write is "a full serving of meat and potatoes", and no milk and cookies, no light-weight trite.
My book is called, "SURVIVING WHAT'S TO COME, To Prepare Or Not to Prepare, That is the Question".
It's a labor of love that's been in the works most of this year. I actually announced it back in the spring but it's really only become ready for primetime, more recently.
It's currently sold on Amazon, in the Kindle ebooks section. Being a downloadable ebook, it costs peanuts. Simply search by the title and it will take you directly to it, or click on this link: http://www.amazon.com/SURVIVING-WHATS-COME-Question-ebook/dp/B009SFEMDE/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1350923595&sr=1-1&keywords=Surviving+what%27s+to+come
OR, if you prefer, it's also available for a lengthier preview and purchase, in PDF format, on my book's website at: http://www.survivalpreparations.ca/index.html
There are also other helpful articles and information on the website, too.
I have no false illusions about making lots of money from this book. It was never meant for that reason. I simply have a passion for telling others about the wisdom in emergency preparedness. I don't want people to be caught unaware and not know what to do.
So, if you're interested in Emergency Preparedness, Survival Scenarios and Preparations and all the many offshoot tangents related to it, I encourage you to check it out on my book website or on Amazon in their Books category. Note the Table of Contents chapters for what's in it, too, as Amazon's preview functionality only allows for the first bit of the first chapter to be previewed. And in my book, that's merely the preamble, "setting the stage" for the real meat later on that's yet to come in subsequent chapters.
This book is a serious read, perhaps not for the faint of heart, or those looking for a light read. It's purposely rather comprehensive, and may also tread where others won't dare. I've spared no detail, and pulled no punches, as they say, either. It's serves as both a "reality-check" and challenge to all people anywhere who are concerned about what the future may hold for all of us.
Here's the book's description from Amazon, just to give you a better idea of what's in it ---
“SURVIVING WHAT’S TO COME - To Prepare or Not To Prepare, That is the Question” is a particularly relevant and highly practical book for our current times ---
This is an Eye-Opener & Call-to-Action book for those who don’t yet see what they may need to...
It’s a What You Need & What You Need To Do book reminding those who already believe, and informing those who may yet come to believe... that there’s wisdom in Emergency Preparedness.
The fact is, there are many people who are beginning to believe that the future won’t be quite as rosy as we’d all like it to be. They believe there’s a need for emergency preparedness versus those who don’t believe anything bad could ever happen in their own back yard, let alone on the global stage. They're sensing that something's in the works, something's brewing...and if we ignore what’s happening around us, we may ignore it to our peril...
This is NOT a typical doomsday book nor is it about the supposed end of the world as we know it. It is a very timely, highly practical, informative book that will help prepare you physically and mentally for whatever the future might bring. In the first couple chapters I look at our current global economic situation, and what’s going on around the world, and what it all might mean to us at a personal and local level. Given current events happening right now in our world, these first few chapters are especially relevant. The rest of the book is about arming you and preparing you with what you may need to consider for various survival scenarios. Its premise is that there’s wisdom in preparing for the proverbial rainy day or storm of the century scenario, or as it might one day arise… perhaps some major global financial or other crisis, or some natural or man-made disaster. And of course, for the latter, there could be scores of different less serious to very serious calamitous scenarios.
It offers a wealth of highly practical survival preparation advice. It recommends definitive actions that can be taken to ensure that you and your loved ones can be amply prepared to survive just about any natural or man-made crisis or disaster that might ever, one day, befall us.
If you fancy yourself an aware and discerning person, then this is a “must-read” you’ll greatly benefit from.
I'll be writing more books related to this topic in the months to come. I hope you enjoy it and find it beneficial. I sincerely believe the timing is very right for this kind of practical book. Check it out!
Best Regards,
