What can you get in supplies for 78.00 +tax / 6 months ? Is it food to last for 6 months ? Is there tax on food now ? 😯
Or perhaps this is just 78.00 + tax for toilet paper.
Or perhaps it means 78 +tax X 6 months = 468 + tax
Is that 78 + TAX for each person to last for 1 months ?
Or perhaps it means 78.00+ tax for 6 months supply of rice.
My brain is spinning wondering. 😕
50 people x 78 = 3900.00 invested by people ,is that per month your gross income or is that your gross income for 6 months?
or is it 50 x 78 x 6 = 23,400 you gather in monies over 6 months for 50 people x 6 months ?
Do you are have a GST/HST # for remitting taxes to the government already setup ?
The amount of money invested by each person , considering I know how much food and supplies cost , $$$$ , and I also
know how much tins of dehydrated or freeze foods cost, I know how far 78.00 can or can not go to last either 1 month or 6 months ( not clear on # months )
This spells RED FLAG ALERT " a fool and his money part easily " ( as Knuckle said )
If the website is worded like you show Knuckle, then it is possibly not meant to be what we might think it means
could mean anything , so it is buyer beware.
I have only mentioned small tidbits previously of what I find wrong in earlier posts, and as some find there to be a lynching here,
there is the need to tread lightly , but there is a huge amount left unsaid with what is wrong . As soon as someone mentions
something , my brain sees another dozen things wrong.
Agreeing with Knuckle, I also don't want to continue feeding information as to what is wrong because we are doing the
research for their business.
I think Syn is on target with the usage of public storage units, and the concept of network marketing for skills within the eastern star community .
I feel for you Knuckle, last time I bought KD was the cauliflower and cheese version, same size box but lighter weight in content and when you open the box it is 1/3 empty but I never paid $2.39 , I only paid .50 cents.
I googled the fraternal organization order of the eastern star and I would bet money that Nathan never used their own photos for his website , but despite the fraternity premise which I fully don't understand , they seem to do commendable charitable works. Again I seem to not be connecting the dots how you go from gang member infiltration 'deep cover' to order of the eastern star member to opportunistic entrepreneur . It is an open market to make money where ever you see opportunity but I have a suggestion, seeing as you identify so closely as a member of that fraternity that has a lot of seniors doing charitable work , rather than networking your for profit venture amoungst these nice seniors who are fellow brothers and sisters in the order of the eastern star, why not launch a nonprofit organization that provides the assistance in prepping, at cost plus a stipend for your time ?
Our gas just dropped to $1.45 and I go south only 50 miles to see theirs is $1.23 . (And then they wonder why we won't support the local economy these days!)
I figured it was a good chance all those pics on his website were just scavenged off the web and this aspect would make his outfit even more of a scam. Bottom line is that there isn't any way that we can verify his claims and this aspect should make all preppers nervous.
I have pointed out in many other threads that only earning ones trust thru years of friendship is the obvious answer to guaranteeing loyalty. Family and other close ties come in 2nd place as again many will go with those they know over those they don't during bad times. But seeing such holes in their story at even the basic levels is a sure sign of misrepresentation.
at the same address: Renée's Walking Paws
Hi, my name is Renée Castorina. Here at Renée's Walking Paws I am dedicated to giving your pets the care and attention they need to be a happy, healthy member of your family. Your pets, from cats, dogs, birds, rabbits and reptiles to horses, pigs and chickens will be treated as part of the family. Although I have found multi pet care names for this local.
It also has the same name as a legit company in the UK.
Can you say smells?
which one
We aren't really concerned with how you can or can't gather we profit from this program. As said, its no longer to be considered by the public. The location you speak of is Renee's Walking Paws. She is the business partner I spoke of. We have our office out of the kennel/facility location. We actually have brought an Architect on Board, her name is Miranda Halley. With regards to the website and its "stock" photos from the internet, that is laughable. NO, you are absolutely correct, those photos are not of us. They are filler photos provided by the web designer. We have yet to take group photos to place on the site. But the point is, its funny, how illogical opinions backed by speculation turn into evidence of fraudulent activities. THAT is the exact problem with this community (preparedness in general) and the cause of conspiracy theories LOL. Seriously laughable. But keep thinking you know what you know about us. Clearly you guys like to pull together half-understood reasoning and other details that have no bearing and string them together into an eloquent attempt at...what exactly we are unsure. Me personally, having read all the messages, see you guys going nowhere with any of your comments at this stage. I'm not sure if your trying to prove we don't know what we're doing or that we're scam artists or what. The only way you can figure that out, is by doing, right? A good example of this is trying to pass judgment on Masonry or O.E.S even though self-admittedly not having a clear idea of what either organization is. At that point, its a point of proving lack of insight and wisdom to pass an opinion on something you don't know anything about. My personal goal, is not to sit here and talk about insignificant things like explaining HOW we make money and what our profit margins are. You are not investors we are wishing to impress or get on board. This isn't a presentation to meet your expectations. We (I) were solely looking to simply mention the concept (which I have been proven wrong for doing so) to share what we would love to bring to this industry. If your prerogatives are to attempt to slander our beliefs or insult us, I hope that you reconsider such acts. None of this is up for debate. It is a simple advertisement/introduction. Feel free to seek our company for its offerings. If you feel it is anything but what we say then you are more than welcome to leave the page and we ask that you do so without attempting to take shots at us, considering NONE of you know us personally or professionally. I am more referring to Knuckle at this point. As has been witness by one of your members, these remarks and discussion have been in league with lynching practices (well known to be performed on this website).
Due to these interactions (not regarding the useful gathered points) and of course as I mentioned, a consortium of past experiences on this website I have been basically TOLD to leave. Our Affiliates advise and our Partners request that interaction with this board stop. After reading what has been said today, I can't seem to find a reason to disagree. The posting for this business shall be removed. Good luck to all.
www.ArcContinuity.com
Well, feel free to contact me.
In fact, it was I that approved your first 3 posts, as I wanted to see where this would go...and I have been following quite closely, although quietly.
The one thing that REALLY disturbs me is the blatant misuse of this area of the forum.
The Member Business area was for current, active, and productive members to promote products or service that they feel may be of value to other forum members.
It was NEVER intended for companies to come in and advertise for free.
If you want to advertise, we sell banner ads, and I can have our sales rep email you the specifics.
I think I'm going to have to make some changes in the way this area is made available for members to advertise.
Now, if you think about it, you offered up a service, but with no real specifics or details.
You faced scrutiny, as would be expected, and your inexperience in PR/Sales showed in spades.
No sales rep that I have ever known would have reacted the way you did here and kept their job...period.
You seriously don't know squat about this forum if you think we in any way promote or support the "conspiracy theory" aspect that has, in my opinion, become the disgrace of the preparedness movement.
I think it would be fun to hear more on your affiliates and this lynching effect they caused as they too must have then pushed a few buttons on various levels then too. You seem to have only a limited understanding of how folks think on the subject of prepping though as we found so many aspects that you haven't even considered. If this were something you had dwelled upon for awhile, I think that you'd have packaged this in a different manner.
Now I even find myself approaching this subject more cautiously as I now don't wish to feed you better tactics to help you entice folks here with. I see that you do have some pricing listed and can't imagine how you could expect to turn a profit if you were to truly fill the role expected by many here. Here is that pricing BTW while I caution others before they start considering this offer to remember that in a time of crisis, nobody is going to be checking on the honesty of such offers. So such offers can be easily assuming such with the concept "a fool and his money are soon parted".

Now I mentioned earlier that a box of Kraft dinner where I live sells for $2.37 I think it was an thus I travel a good ways and load up on groceries. Well, 15 years ago a fella came around and offered the wife a years supply of groceries (plus all other necessities for $2500.00 for a family of 5). She was on that so fast as she knew what we spent and it was alot more than that. He also signed her up with a Mastercard which was another on his pitches. Now this deal was complete and the wife proclaimed she saved us a ton of money and it indeed seemed so. A truck showed up and delivered so much stuff that it again seemed worthy. But alot of this stuff turned out to be things we didn't eat, cleaning products that were bulk crap, and far from a years worth unless your whole family ate like 1/4 of their present diet. And now the wife had a credit card that she hadn't had before and with high interest rates to boot.
If it sounds too good to be true, that is because it most likely is!
Now I did find this Situation Alert concept is a good idea though, just not with a price tag attached. It seems that maybe we could get something like that going here thru the forum with an admin such as Denob at the helm (hint, hint) 😀 Since he has means to likely contact most of us if such an event did occur and we weren't already aware, this forum could maybe even save a life or two someday! Then someone might even owe ya a beer or 2,or 3.....
PSST: Wake UP Denob! I know yer in them shadows somewhere........ 😀 😎
I see your point about the 1 year supply for $2500.
Ya, I'll bet that when someone else does your shopping, you will end up with a lot of stuff you don't or can't eat due to personal taste, allergies, medical conditions etc...
Take a look at some of the 1 year food deals offered by so many companies out there...I'll bet there's a lot of stuff in those packs that you just wouldn't normally order.
Here is the kicker about them though...you can see the list, straight up, nothing hidden or covert about it.
Check it out...
http://totalprepare.ca/product/premium-4320-serving-package/
Oh geez...look, a complete list of what you get!
I'll bet that you could contact them and customize a package to suit your taste/diet too!
Now, as for an alert system, yes, it has been thought of, but the logistics are just too great.
No way could I keep an eye on the entire country 24/7.
Now, perhaps a network of members could post at least what may be of importance in their specific area...that might work.
Hmmmm...off to think.
Well, feel free to contact me.

That was my exact point denob. I came here to mingle with the members, to contribute and take away what I can where I can, as I have done in the Ontario forum. as I said the was to hare our related venture. nothing more.
As far as you monitoring silently, at what point do you step in and say something? Why is it other members I've to your job? I've never expected any retaliation or reprimand by you to the commentora, I've been forewarned that such refuge for myself will not come and the favorites game is commonly on this forum. Contrary to such advice I have chosen to partake. so what does that truly say about me and yourself? Let me reiterate that I don't have a problem with you or others specifically, though I'm aware of people who do, I choose to experience these recorded events and interactions for myself. gotta say, not off to a good start. The disregard for intervention on your part leads me to reserve myself. And leaves me or anyone else with these experiences to be less likely to help th community grow. You can't control people, of course, but I do hope in the future if/when these blatant acts occur, you are quicker to steer the conversation and intentions into a more productive light.
www.ArcContinuity.com
Please feel free to point out those "blatant acts", and, if the TOS or code of conduct has been breached, I WILL deal with it.
You could have at any time clicked the "report post" button if you feel you were being treated unfairly.
Those who make reports are known only to me and the other mods, and you should have no fear of retribution.
I'm sure that there are a few people who think I play favorites here...those people also likely think I spend my day glued to the computer disecting every post.
Not true...and if something is going wrong...it is up to the members to let me know.
Now, many members here operate their own business, myself included, and as such approach your offering from a different point of view.
Knowing what it takes financially to gather a 6 month supply of provisions, many just don't see how you can make this work given the pricing...which initiated a "too good to be true" reaction.
This was your time to shine as a business owner...reassure them, explain how it works, gain their confidence.
Personally, I have browsed your website looking for more information, but I always seem to hit the "contact us" brick wall.
Hey, don't take this the wrong way...it's just some friendly advice from one business owner to another.
Open up a bit...tell people what they get for what they pay.
How are the safe houses hardened? Against what specific disasters?
What do you get in a package for 6 months?1 year? etc.
Do you drop all the supplies upon opening the contract, or do you start with a basic amount of provisions and add to it as time goes on?
How often do you rotate your supplies and what "best before" dates do you maintain?
Seriously, I'm giving you every opportunity to gain the trust of those you are advertising to...it's up to you.
That is, if this is even up for debate anymore, as you have stated that you no longer wish to offer it as a service to the public.
Hey guys!
We, including myself, are members of Freemasonry and Order of the Eastern Star and we have unanimously decided that it is a much more logical to deal with brothers and "clientele" that have already proven our character.
Now it makes sense. Count me out.
I'm a little slow....what makes sense?
I think that underprepared may have been eluding to the belief that a Freemason is somehow not worth doing business with.
Certainly, I don't understand why ArcContinuity felt it beneficial to reveal this, but I also don't think that membership in a fraternal organization should be deemed as a reason to shun.
So why do I feel like I swatted the hornets nest and then quickly closed the door? I even had to go back and reread the thread to make sure I had no crap on my boots before I walked on thru... 😀
I just made sure that I didn't say anything that needs to be apologized for as Arc Continuity seems to think I'm on Denob's favorite list. Little does he know that Denob has already kicked me to the curb and I likely still have the boot prints there to prove it. 😆
It's funny that I am the target of Arc's frustrations when I was really quite polite as to how I approached each piece of information and just sorta showed there was alot of room for misrepresentation.... and of course mention this to others. If we were to have discussed such as this publicly without me having the time to carefully consider my words, he could have witnessed my less polite and more direct approach instead and then we'd really be buddies.... 😉
Considering he states he is a fellow ex-officer of the law and has 5 years deep cover with some of TO's worst gangs, maybe we can compare and see who has more tatoos and count scars as they seem to do on TV shows? I'd lay bets I win at both!
I got to say, this is only but one example of entrepreneurs that come in to this forum, announce they have a (new) business, lead you to their website, only to discover that it is just an hollow shell. Products listed as "coming soon" or every other pages are "under constructions" and/or simply leading you to "contact us." (Hint, if your business doesn't look legit, I'm not contacting you, that's just one more opening to get spam p@rn emails or that pleasant 6 o'clock phone call telling me I won a cruise)
I'm not a business major, but I'm a decently savvy customer. I believe that entrepreneurs should put their best foot forward and make a good first impression. Sadly, most of the folks that have posted their startups here failed royally. Result : went to the site, saw how pitiful it was, left, won't go back.
Morale of that story : if it's not ready, don't advertise it! Whether it's website, product, service, decent inventory, etc etc etc. it's a tough market out there and with online shopping, there are many choice out there. Come out strong, come out loud, come out ready for business... Otherwise, be prepared to suffer the criticism, yes, we can be a tough crowd...

Hear Hear .. 😉 Very well stated.

I will say that I also tried to be polite here in public, however my mind was saying alot of blunt stuff that I had to hold my tongue, 'er keyboard and mouse from saying here.
Denob has filled in some of the pieces a wee bit for what I wanted to say.
