I suggest you look at the menu carefully to see if it's what you might want to eat.
You might look at the ingredients too. Learn what things like "Hydrolyzed Corn Protein" and "autolyzed yeast extract" really are and decide if you want to be eating them.

Hi Georges,

Since you asked for input my comments would be ....Are there any basic freeze-dried ingredients available through your company? Packaged foods generally contain more sodium than starting from scratch. While earlier recommendations have been in the 2100 mg range, the newest levels are far lower at around 1800 mg and for those of us over 50, or who have kidney or other health issues including higher blood pressure readings, the daily recommendations are closer to 1500 mg. A 1-cup serving of cheddar broccoli soup and a 1-cup serving of thai coconut noodles is 1520 mg and that is a really small portion if people are out chopping wood, etc. It might be nice to have a few packages of prepared foods for a change of pace, but even with the cost per serving you have indicated I would be reluctant to purchase a huge quantity for that reason. If drugs were to become unavailable for people on medications for high blood pressure or kidney problems, this level might just be too high. Our parents and grandparents didn't have the blood pressure issues that plague a lot of people these days and processed foods weren't available to the extent they are used now.

Please accept my comments as they are just my opinion and aren't meant to deter any one from purchasing what is probably a very tasty, reasonably priced product.

Hmmm... I just took a peek at the 'Free Sample Pack' page and it seemed that the meals offered there were "valued" closer to $2.50 (or more) per serving on average. Then I also noticed shipping charges "Just pay $9.95 for shipping & handling, $14.95 for Canada." I guess that package has to travel more than 1/2 again as far because it's north of the 49th parallel. (if handling charges are equal on either side of the border) In my books that just isn't kosher.

I refuse to be penalized by a retail company for living in Canada. No thanks, I'll pass.

Good luck with that,
BTR

I already have ordered a few packages from gofoods (true they are quite good), but through an america representative. She is actually great and not I am not necessarily looking to change, but wondered if I would save on shipping costs if I brought stuff through you. Or do you still need to order from the american site (home base) or is there a true canadian affiliate?
