hello fellow
i am new on posting here but i visit this site since a while now
first of all i am french canadian from quebec province but i also speak 5 language
im born on military family in a small town of 1200 living soul
my mother ever been a prepper she stock pile food water seeds and more all along her life
wen i was young i found it weird and i feel shameful when my friend asked my why ur mother stock so much stuff ?
my mother told me someday i just sleep better when i know my family is prepare
and its only many years later i really understand what she mean
also now im following her instruction and doing same has her now .. and yes i do sleep better because i know im prepared
when i was a kids survival was my favorit game i set trap build shelter start fire killing game and cooked them until we moved to montreal at 16 years old
i learned from first nation many crafting skill. " i love them so much "
personaly i consider myself more has a survivalist than a prepper
about my personal experience and skill , it begin in canadian army of course like all my family member . then i become a canadian champion of fencing at 17 yrs
i also teach aikido & kendo in argentina buenos aires 5 years long from 1996 to 2001
i have many skill and hability like mecanic & falconry and more...
why do i consider myself has expert survivalist ? the answer is simply because im passionate about living in wilderness also i lived 2 years homeless in south america from 2001 to 2003
and 1 years long on canadian wilderness ( was much more dificult in canadian wilderness but less dangerous)
in 2001 all my world got destroyed because of a love story then i start walking around south america , searching for my own shadow
in 2004 i reintegrated the civilization and try to have what people call " normal life " but i will never be really normal 😆
since i have very light thraumatic stress disorder , i said very light compare to most of my military friends ..
Regard John
