Hi everyone, I am a mother of one living in the greater toronto area. I have always been interested in prepping and have had a limited amount of stored food in the house at all times since I moved out on my own to attend university 6 years ago. But since becoming a mom last year, it has come to my attention that I am now not only providing for myself but for my family too. This put my prepping into overdrive. My husband has always supported me with prepping but just this past month has started helping me with prepping for our family. The unstable situation with Russia was the push he needed to get on board and instead of just supporting what I do, he is now helping greatly. My husband is ex military and has valuable skill sets that he is teaching me which will help us greatly if the need arrives. With his support I know that there is nothing we cannot face.
From Hamilton, 19 yrs old. Worried about Russia, China, and Obama (haha). Want to be prepared for anything though. People have lost the basic skills of farming and other agricultural knowledge. As well as the ability to hunt, shoot, fish, self- defense, navigation, and basic survival. I blame government dependability and the false security blanket everyone from the media to the school teachers say that we have. I'm not anti- government... I just believe in less of it. Anyone around my area that agrees and wants to discuss good bug out locations, go bag supplies, and were to buy .22LR ammo (haha) or anything else, contact me. I'm always looking to get more knowledge on this sort of stuff. By the way, this is a great post and i'm happy to see that there are others like me and that there are women that are knowledgeable and willing to learn about prepping too! Love this site! 😀
