Hey all, looking at your site, im yearning to start a homestead around the prepper state of mind.
From the ground up starting with a nice little hut for everyday living running on wood power and using solar power.
Trying to make everything self sustaining, provide for myself now on the grid and preppare for when the grid fails.

hi and welcome 🙂 lots of great places to live off grid here in alberta,, how does one get started?
There are alot of topics covered in a lot of threads. I would suggest that new members pick a category and skim through titles within that category (ie. general preparedness) and read what's interesting. Then pick another category and do it again.
Don't forget to check out your provincial categories as well, in case there are going to be some local meetings this spring.
Don't forget to use the search engine as well... very useful tool.
If you don't find what you're looking for though, don't be afraid to shout out!
