Hi from Gatineau Quebec CANADA !!
Hi there just joined from Medicine Hat Alberta thanks for the add. Kind of new to the prepping world but have been a avid outdoorsman and bush crafter my whole life.
Finally took the plunge and joined. Live about an hour west of Kamloops BC. Live totally off the grid, stock up on useful supplies, garden, can (350 jars this year) and recently put in an outhouse for what if? (I am not cleaning out my septic myself if shtf!)
Welcome to the forum valleygal, I am southwest in the fraser valley and while I haven't put in the outhouse, I had the hole predug when the opportunity presented itself and have options ready for a quick rustic outhouse if we have an earthquake .
Hello from Vancouver's Westend
I have been wanting to begin prepping for sometime. I have visited many prepper websites and the amount of information is a little overwhelming. So I guess I'm here to get some practical no nonsense advise and guidence.
Cheers
Hello,
I'm new here and hope to learn more from fellow preppers.
Regret comes last, if it comes early its called registration!
In the end, only fellow preppers truly respects other preppers.
When nothing happens, the world will laugh at you.
When SHTF, what will happen when they found out you got supplies?
Good morning 🙂 Just joined the site. I am from east central Saskatchewan and not brand new to prepping but always have lots to learn! Can't wait to see around the site 🙂
Hello all,
Just signed up today! cant wait to meet new people in the Est townships!!!
New here on the forum and new to Southern Alberta as well. Hoping to learn more from down to earth people who are trying to increase their self reliance while decreasing their consumption of things that they don't need. I would like to learn more about HF radio reception, canning and storing food. I can help anyone who wants to learn more about navigation with map and compass, bushcraft, and extreme cold weather camping/survival.
Brand new, just found this site. Happy to be here and just starting out. Would love to meet up with others for personal chats, not just online. I'm in the Calgary area. Strathmore.
Good Day Everyone,
I am definitely an newbie, just trying to get as much information as I can on the entire subject of Prepping. I have come a long way in my preperations since this past summer when reading an article on-line that discussed whether or not you are prepared for a disaster. That article transformed my way of thinking and I have since been on my journey to try to be as prepared as I possibly can for as many different scenerios that I can. I will be very interested in hearing about other preppers experiences with storing food, alternate forms of energy that are working for them(i.e. windmills, solar, etc...) and caches. I am on the east coast in New Brunswick.
Hello from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Happy New Years, Glad to be a member.
Happy New a Year!
I'm a 57 year old widow with 4 adult children. I'm a registered nurse in the state of California, but Canadian citizen and living here in the Niagara region. I was in the Canadian Armed Forces as a supply tech about 40 years ago, learned a few useful things. Starting from near scratch over again, just building food supply so far, but ready to put serious time and effort into high gear preparation. The signs indicate to me 2015 is going to be a SHTF year, and there isn't much time to be sleepwalking. I appreciate your invitation to share wisdom, support, advice, and watching each other's back.
Count me in, if you please.

hi..been thinking of joining a group for a few years and now seems like a good time. Good people coming together during a disaster or the best of times is what its all about.
