Been prepping for a number of years, but in the UK its harder to keep things under wraps, so moved out here with the wife and kids to become as self sufficient as possible

My best prepping stratagy is to live a lifestyle external from the mainstream. Rather than prep and store more, I try to live with less.

Welcome CanMan. I agree with you there. There is big business in "things", for sure, but once thing about living on less, and I would also say skills/knowledge, is that you always have it with you 🙂

Hello from Parkland area of Manitoba. There must be other preppers near here it's the perfect place. Affordable rural area with thick forests and rich farmland. We have a huge garden, many types of fruit and have raised sheep, pigs, chickens, cows, no livestock at present.
