Well I am south as well, though not as far as zone 6, so Hello. Now by chance you wouldn't be one of those who can work a slide rule and corral those wire travelling pixies would you?

Hi everyone, been a pepper for a while. It's been like living on an island alone, thankfully, I found International Preppers. Great people with great advice.

Hi folks. It's encouraging to know there are other like- minded people on Vancouver Island preparing for SHTF scenarios. None of my friends, neighbors, or acquaintances are actively preparing for the obvious events like snowstorms, earthquakes, or even a bad windstorm taking down the power grid. I live on a farm in Saanich where I grow and store food, living mostly off-grid, and have the skills and equipment to survive long term. I'll monitor this discussion page for any ideas members have to help support one another, it does get lonely out here without someone to discuss things with.

Hello From the Canadian Arctic!

We are a young family originally from Nova Scotia, living in the arctic for the past 2 years. I have browsed this site as a guest for years and finally took the step to become a member. We are looking forward to networking and meeting like minded individuals that we can hopefully connect with when we make the move back down south (most likely rural Alberta). Looking forward to talking with you all.

Welcome to IPN ArcticFamily! Rural AB (at least the northern part of "central" AB) feel like the arctic today, so it wouldn't be too much of a transition for you coming back right now 🙂

Looking forward to reading your posts as you're likely living in a near-survival routine days-in and days-out.

Hello Everyone.
Ottawa area Southern ExPat former Military and Canadian now for several years.
I looked to the forum here after I saw a old post asking about Ottawa area surplus military shops.
I have been in the surplus business for years now and have brought our bulk buy and fly style to Ottawa.
We mainly have been hidden wholesale but now time to step out a little and meet like minded people so a big hello to all.
