Here's some useful links that I regularly monitor as to disasters and potential crises of one kind or another, including financial, around the world. They are some good references, if you're interested:

http://globaldisasterwatch.blogspot.com/ - Global Disaster Watch

http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index2.php - Disaster & Emergency Alert Map of the World

http://www.healthmap.org/en/ - Global Disease Alert Map

http://www.worldatprotest.com/ - World at Protest Map

http://www.globalincidentmap.com/map.php - Global Terrorism Incident Map & Other Tracking Maps

http://www.usdebtclock.org/ - Current U.S. National Debt Clock (in real time)

http://www.debtclock.ca/ - Canada's Federal Debt Clock (in real time)

http://www.economist.com/content/global_debt_clock - Global Debt Clock (in real time)

http://www.dalesdesigns.net/world_clock.htm - Amazing Real Time World Clock

I obviously can't vouch for the accuracy of them, but similar websites report comparable data, too. So I suspect they're accurate enough. The one that I check daily, in particular, is the Global Disaster Watch site. Check them out!

Have a great day!
