N8tureboy - good job on being prepared. Stay safe and if you feel that thing are becoming unsafe don't wait for the "authorities" to tell you to leave - just get out. Makes for good practice even if it's a "false alarm". Stay safe!!

Kudos to you N8tureboy, sometimes it is people who are not a burden that help save lives by allowing the authorities to go get about their jobs .
Just update, bug out PLAN worked great. 4 dogs, 3family members and 3guests from out of town all evacuated, to a secondary location. Food and water for a week, extra gas, generator. Went well. The town was spared, but many of our friends lost cabins in the area.
