Its time for us to spread a little IPN love. I personally want to send a Shout Out to All the Admin for all of your effort. Same goes out to the Regs that share your experience freely as well as the periodic members that Chime in when they can.
I noticed that Denob took some punches over his decision to direct the ship away from the rocks. I want to openly say that I support this decision whole heartedly. If I owned a nightclub, I wouldn't tolerate someone bringing in their own Boom Box. There are 101 other pages out there where, instead of actually learning the needed skills of Disaster Preparedness, you can obsess all you want about the plans of the Illuminati, The secret machinations of Aliens and their government conspirators, How the Republic can make your floors shine brighter, How the book of Revelations clearly shows that Obama is the Antichrist or Why White Christians are racially superior wile being walking advertisements for Retroactive Abortion. Same goes for sites where people can obsess about memorising gun statistics like baseball cards and reveal their secret, god given advice about whether the AK47 or the AR15 will make you a better man or whether a 45 or a 9mm will give you better staying power in bed, ad nauseum. Occasionally I visit those other sites to give me a better understanding of news as I try to work around 10 different versions of propaganda to come to some understanding of daily events....But I'm sure not going to give them my support and I'm Damned Well not going to contribute my effort.

So, What makes IPN different. I'm generally suspicious of Preppers. The term prepper came about as a radical departure of the excessive creepiness of the survivalist movement. Wikipedia had a great description of this as to prepping. It also discussed its history and a point about that the term prepper was politically and religiously neutral. Each prepper had their own. Well, This year Wikipedia changed that post. Now prepper and survivalist have the same meaning. Thats pretty much what I also saw happen the last 5 years. The rats left their sinking ship and climbed onto the healthy boat, claming it as their own and insulting any who opposed them.
But here I find a level of maturity in the majority of the members. When the conspiracy crap rears its head like it does, Im not the lonely prophet calling from the wilderness to shut the F up. The regulars usually chime in and call BS (Not always...but enough) and the reply is usually what would come out of my own mouth, "How, exactly does Obsessing over this increase your Prepps". Way to go, everyone. Prepping can be lonely. Im glad to know Im not alone. This is what makes me want to contribute instead hiding in the prepper closet. I've met a few good friends that I now hang with because we met here. I hope that there is more to come.
