If anyone is interested in the Transition movement, there will a public expo this Friday and Saturday in Tantallon. http://www.transitionbay.ca/content/great-unleashing
I think Transition and Permaculture offer some of the best tools to deal with a slow collapse, and I'm very interested to learn more about both movements.
I'll chime in on this, D. I cant make it but do recomend going to Transition events like this. I usualy describe Transition Town as "The hippy version of survivalism. Less guns. More baked goods". Its a good counterbalence and the people that provide local grown food when the walmarts are empty. I recognise some of the people going there as preppers I have met and others that are preppers that would never use the name. Speaking of Transition....Our new Solar panel system has arived. We are almost released from grid dependence. I'll write more on what D calls a "Slow Crash" at a latter date
I have a Tactical Harness and I have a Tool Belt. The Tool Belt is more Useful.
