i have read several posts about canning , but I feel I am missing something.
I need your help, and thank you in advance
1) Where do I find a list of what should be canned how? So what is pressure sealed, what can I seal normally , etc...
2) what kind of jars can I use?
3) how do I actually do it? Fruit and vegetables from start to finish. how do I peel , treat etc.... especially if I cant go to the store to get what I need for what I need how do I do it naturally...and also how do I do it now that I can buy the items.
4) how can I store it and for how long ....average
5) what about sugar and vinegar? how do I use them to preserve?
I know its a lot of questions, and I appreciate the feedback
threestorms,
A great place to start, is to buy the canning/preservative guideline & cookbook that can be
found selling next to the canning jars. Canadian Tire has it. Probably Walmart also.
It is put out by the company that make canning jars.
They redo this canning / preservative guideline cookbook every few years . It is full
of all that kind of information.
A complete list of books. UTorrent is needed for these downloads. https://kickass.to/usearch/canning/
Try the USDA Guide to Home Canning...
It's free...in PDF format.
Download, print, save, and use!
