Hi, ready1 and anyone else who may be interested...I'm looking to form a prepping group in Durham Region. I have some people already interested but am looking for people closer to me as well for occasional group meetups to share skills/knowledge. Thanks!

Wow can't believe it took me this long to find this post :P. I currently reside in the Durham Region and like most am also currently interested in meeting with like minded individuals to meet up with and share/practice skills. I would not be against establishing a group either, given time. I hope there are still active durham preppers on this forum! feel free to give me a PM, and don't forget to post here to keep this thread going!

Best regards
-Desro

Hi
As an FYI i just added CELOX to my first aid kit. It's to stop bleeding. Perfect for out in the wilderness when a chainsaw wound or gun shot might mess you up and nothing is close by. I'm specifically talking about when cutting tails or hunting.

Hi hridika,

I know this is an old post, but I was just wondering where you found your Celox? Online or is there a supplier in Ontario? The only place I have seen that sells it is MEC in certain packages...
Thanks

On another note for Durham Region SAIL in Oshawa https://www.sail.ca/en/our-stores/oshawa/ carries MSR Water filters I got one at Christmas.

MSR Water purtification: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goyXWqX96Yg

I live north of uxbridge. ..

I have 3 Msr water filters and love them. Filters aren't cheap but last for ever if you boil and clean um.
